|Title||MC-230 Super Trimmer|
I was having a hard time removing severe (large and thick) mats (pelts) from our cat BC, a long-haired Persian with fine hair. I knew better than to use scissors and most of the drawerful of grooming tools I bought for the task seemed to work better at preventing mats than removing them. This was going on for months, much to my frustration and my cat's displeasure. After reading that mats can be very painful for a cat, I was determined to find a way to get rid of the mats. BC is 18 years old, so I wasn’t going to get her sedated for a grooming, no thanks! I started watching online videos showing and explaining how others were removing thick mats. I happened upon a video by a groomer in the United Kingdom called The Best Cat Grooming Clippers Ever. In this video, the groomer was shaving a severely matted cat with a trimmer she said was fantastic on matted cats, which she had used on Persians. She said it had a blade that was much smaller than normal clippers and there was no chance of nicking or cutting the cat. The video was very convincing and I knew then I had to buy this trimmer. And I did. Grooming with a clipper requires knowledge of how to hold, position, and use it properly. Before I got the Super Trimmer MC 230, I figured I was doing it all wrong because I was getting nowhere with the pet clipper I bought off Amazon last year. Well, it wasn’t me. It was the other clipper that was all wrong. Once I received the Super Trimmer, it took no more than 3 days to remove these severe mats, working on them a little at a time so as not to stress my kitty, but each time removing more of the mat than I had with the other clipper. MUCH MORE. And by comparison, it was easier. I love using this trimmer! I still use it from time to time for touch-ups, to keep BC from ever getting severely matted again. Before the Super Trimmer MC 230, I was using grooming tools and another clipper for months that did not work. But after using this trimmer, my cat was mat free in just 3 days! I love this little miracle trimmer. I don’t see why anyone really needs another trimmer/clipper, and you certainly don’t need to pay $200-$300 (as I nearly did) for an Andis, Wahl or Oster. Not only do I think it works so much smoother than the first clipper I bought, I think it’s safer too. The Super Trimmer MC-230 is truly the one to get, the only one this cat owner will ever need.
